Bulk head for tin ceiling.

Bulk head covering plumbing and electrical for tin ceiling.

Old houses are always fun. There like boat carpentry, nothing is straight or true, plumb or level, square or right.

This is a perfect example of making things level that are not, or rather incorporating the two. Notice the complementary angles on the shim work.

This project will suspend a tin ceiling.

Built with a circular saw and nails

Custom fitted shelf

The shelf is deceiving because it is anchored to the wall which gives it supreme stability.

There are 6 ways look at a piece of lumber; the note, the split, the check (which is a split in the end of a lumber) , and a crown, a bow, or a twist.

Moving door in 180 year old house.

The door was originally on the right, I am to return it after the house has a century in a half to settle.
